Sunday night, Steve and I decided to go on a nice walk and enjoy some time together, so we walked down to the river, played in the water, watched a bird catch fish and stuff, and then walked back home. It was probably about 3 miles round trip, but the river is one of my favorite places, and I go there often, in a few minutes I am going there with Steve and Mel for the opening night of Artown, but that will be another post.
A dogwood tree we saw on the way, in full bloom two days before July!!
A beautiful church across the river.
Me in my cute maternity clothes!
Steve! I was so sure he was going to slip and go down the rapid, but he didn't.
My hot husband!
The bird, it is a Black-crowned Night Heron, first time I have seen this so I got to put a check mark by it in my bird book. http://www.birds.cornell.edu/AllAboutBirds/BirdGuide/Black-crowned_Night-Heron_dtl.html
This is just a random couple we saw, I thought they looked cute, so I took a couple of pictures of them.

That's a pretty river. It's too bad it is so hard to go in our river. It isn't as accessible. There is one park nearby where walking in the river is easier, took Abigail to that one. She had a ball playing in the water. But I had to pee. And you know how it is with running water and being pregnant. Hopefully your little guy stays off your bladder.
Wow... I love the river too. Swimming down the rapids is loads of fun. Your pics are incredible.
The pictures are really nice. Wish we were coming to visit when the weather would be better so we can walk down to the river.
