I just wanted to post something new because I haven't for a while, but I really don't have anything to say. Every day just kinda blurs into the next one, the only way I can tell what day it is is if I think really hard about what time Steve gets home. Tonight it's not until 9, which means it is a Wednesday. Right now I feel like life is a blur of trying to sleep, feedings, and just sitting on the couch. I don't do a whole lot, but I am just exhausted all the time. I have been recovering very well, I can walk around great, without any pain or soreness, I feel really good physically, I am just so tired all the time. We are very lucky to have a baby who will sleep from when we go to bed at about midnight until 4 or 5 in the morning before he needs a feeding.
I am very fortunate to have my mom staying here, she helps out a lot with Simon, changing him, and holding him so I can have a little time for myself, and then she is just taking care of me in general, I feel very spoiled. She has been making meals for us, cleaning, doing dishes and laundry, helping us get organized, preparing my plate at lunch and dinner and bringing it to me at the couch, refilling my water, bringing me my phone, just all kinds of stuff, I feel like a little princess who can't do anything on her own, but I am very grateful I have such a wonderful mom here taking care of me, and a husband who is so excited to see his son at the end of the day. As soon as Steve walks in the door and puts down his backpack, Simon is his for pretty much the rest of the night. Steve wakes up in the middle of the night, gets Simon out of his bassinet and passes him to me for feedings. I don't how he is doing so well in school right now but am glad that he is, and am glad that he can and wants to spend so much time with his son during the evenings.
Today mom and I were getting ready to go on a walk and had a nice surprise, Steve came home for a little break!! So he got to go for a little walk with us. Part way through Simon got a little fussy because he was tired, so Steve took him out of the stroller and carried him the rest of the way. He is just so cute with his little son. And now he is in the kitchen making me lunch when he should be studying between classes, my husband is smart, incredible, handsome, and the best father ever!

Yeah, you are spoiled, but at least you realize how good you've got it. One thing you might want to do though is start doing more stuff on your own, so it won't be such a shocker when Mom leaves. That was the hardest part for me.

Leslie, I thought you were glad to get rid of me. I am glad I have been able to help you girls. You know I love it. And glad Papa is willing to let me come you help you. But don't let him know how much I am helping. He will tell me to slack off. LOL
